About Me
This is a page to be dedicated to me. Not my favorite thing being center stage, but oddly enough I totally love guest teaching in front of a classroom of students. I transitioned into working with the schools when my youngest was moving into kindergarten. I found a place working recess. As she got older I merged into guest teaching and have absolutely loved it for the last 15 years.
Photography has always been a deep passion for me and I returned to school to learn all I could about this fabulous art. I spent one season working for one of the main school photography studios. It taught me all the fundamentals and I also learned that I was too passionate to continue with the rapid fire image taking that they demanded. I created LionTree Photography and ran a successful senior portrait photography business. Life events compelled me to slow down and re-evaluate.

Most everyone feels awkward in front of the lens. If I do my job correctly, everyone will feel at ease and maybe even get excited about being in front of my camera. We're in this together.

What Is Fine Art School Photography?
My services are personal and professional. Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I only take on a few select schools so that I can provide superior customer service and artistic images.
My ultimate goal is to provide an environment where the children can relax and be themselves. To capture their true nature by engaging them and having a little bit of fun -- no forced smiles!
Covid19 Precautions
The photography session is encouraged to take place outside. I will maintain my vaccination and use school personnel to make adjustments to the students hair, collars, etc.in the attempt to maintain 6 feet of distance.

Services Offered
I am a completely online operation.
Families are linked to password-protected online ordering galleries.
Galleries are set up according to grade, homeroom, advisory, or whatever grouping makes sense to the school.
Each child will receive multiple images reflecting their unique personalities. The images will be in both color and black and white. The family will get to choose the image(s) they want printed, as opposed to having one image taken; whatever it may be.
A detailed PDF describing all ordering procedures and shooting day preparation will be provided to each school to be distributed to families prior to photo day.
Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school.
I provide all equipment and personnel needed for photo day
If requested I provide the school with high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks or school ID's.
I handle any questions from parents and families about ordering and products.
I take staff photos and provide a complimentary print package for staff members as well.
I am willing to work with schools to provide custom services that fit your unique needs.

Up to 350 students.
Are These Images Expensive?
I have competitive rates and nothing is due up front, all profit is made from ordering. I offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs.
What Time Of Year Do You Conduct These Fine Art School Photo Shoots?
I work with each individual school to schedule shoots any time during the academic year.
